Stefano Cataudella


Stefano Cataudella is a Full Professor of Ecology at the “Tor Vergata” University of Rome where he tought for many years Applied Ecology and Fisheries Sciences. He worked on systematic, genetics, morphology and ecology of bony fishes, focusing on species of economic interest both for capture fisheries and aquaculture. In the Data Collection Program for Fisheries Sector he is coordinating the working group dealing eco-systemic indicators in fisheries. Actually he is president of the FAO-RFMO “General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean and Black Sea” (CGPM). 

He is author of more than 200 scientific papers, technical papers and books.
