Tommaso Russo

Tommaso Russo is a Researcher at the Laboratory of Experimental Ecology and Aquaculture, Department of Biology, Tor Vergata University of Rome. He is a graduate of the same university, where he obtained a PhD in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology.
His work has focused on the ecology, morphology, and larval biology of teleost fishes. His approach moved progressively toward mathematical and statistical instruments for predictive quantitative models. For five years he has analyzed data from the Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) for the Italian fleet within the Data Collection for the Fisheries Sector Program.
He is a coauthor of 18 scientific papers in peer reviewed journals.
