Lorenzo D'Andrea is a Postgraduate Research Assistant and a PhD student at Tor Vergata University of Rome. He has a Master Degree in Bioinformatics and is trained in spatial modelling. He is an expert in R and other programming languages.
At present he is involved in the RITMARE flagship project and is one of the developers of VMSbase, the R package with a graphical user interface for managing, processing, and mapping VMS and logbook data.
